Graduation: Politechnika Krakowska and Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny in Cracow. International Project Management Associate (Level D) Certificate in 2011. Long-term experience in construction industry, including steel structure project administration in the USA, Canada, New Zealand and many other countries as well as in coordination and price evaluation of extensive internal cube projects in the entire territory of Poland. Dedicated to ICT industry, development and promotion of systems and tools for construction engineering and other lines of industry for more than three years by now. Author of papers on BIM in 4D and 5D, CDE and IPD context.

Personal: mom of 9-year old Kuba and 5-year old Matylda; passionated by photography, hungry for original Polish ravioli and good books on planning and managing anything which may be planned and managed. A determined gardener for her spare time. Prefers meeting people in reality than exchange emails, in agreement with the principle that “the more of us, the better fun we have”.

Robert Szczepaniak

Graduation: Politechnika Warszawska and Technische Universitaet Wien (Faculty of Architecture). Complete architectural licenses in Austria (1995: Wien, Lower Austria and Burgenland) and in Poland (2010: Izba Mazowiecka). Own architectural and creative business, the latter being rather a leisure (animation and graphical novels); enthousiastic over new technologies, yet with eyes open to traditions and values in his life. Founder of “BIM for Polish Building Industry” Association; active supporter of BIM Klaster; author of several dozen papers on BIM and IPD in expert magazines and of expert opinions on public project implementation via BIM methodology. Certified Green Belt Lean Practitioner.

Active sport fan (tennis; skiing; jogging) and generally, dance enthusiast , specifically modern ballet.

Other hobbies: music (any, except the mainstream, yet prefers the border lines of styles); books (hard copies; reader or audiobooks) and shamanism.

Gourmet: light salads and heavy wines, occasionally Islay Malts (Laphroaig and Lagavulin). Not very keen on travelling (unless deep into his soul).

Michał Garstecki

Graduation: AGH Kraków, Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography, specialised in Engineering Geodesy; post graduation: Electrotechnology, Automatic Systems and IT, specialisted in IT. Since 2011 co-owner of AMIGEO Migut Garstecki Sp. J., a company dedicated to geodesy and geodetic information. Specialist in GNSS satellite technologies. Official distributor of SEPTENTRIO brand in Poland.

Passionated by new technologies in any area. Given his profession and preferences, he actively supports the latest solutions in geodesy, remote detection, GIS, and BIM. Such and other novelties in geodesy are direct parts of general construction business where it is BIM which makes up one of the newest technologies.

“BIM process compilation and implementation in geodesy is of the key importance to me. I do hope this will ensure that the design materials developed by the geodesists find their best use among other specialists at the stage of facility design, management, repair or redevelopment. “

Personal: active free time, whenever children let it happen; regular jogger, swimmer, squash and tennis player; skier in wintertime. Books: mainly detective stories (deems Remigiusz Mróz recommendable). Music: any good quality; jazz rules. Of late: passionated by geopolitics (Mackinder, Bartosiak).

Maciej Dejer

Graduation: Politechnika Częstochowska and Krakowska Akademia. Participation in many training sessions, more or less necessary. Professional output: years of experience in steel structure modelling and in administration of the projects implemented in New Zealand, Canada and USA. Co-owner of M.A.D. Engineers since 2012.

Personal: dad of 9-year old Kuba and 5-year old Matylda. Preferred colour: green. Best friend: smartphone. Relax: at work; repose: at home.
